Celebration of MVB's Principle's Birthday!
Our school recently celebrated our principal’s birthday. Students and teachers wished her a happy birthday and showed appreciation for everything she has done for this school. Our principal works hard to support students, teachers, and the whole school community. She helps create a positive and safe learning environment for everyone. Valentines Dance
On February 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm, Martin Van Buren held a Valentine's dance in the gym for anyone to attend! The theme was based on the usual valentines colors, red, pink, and white. Students dressed up in those colors to embrace the valentines spirit! In this event, they served food like cupcakes, bread, soda, and water to keep students satisfied and full. Freshmen Trip to United Skates of America

MVB Food Drive
During the months of October to November in 2025, Martin Van Buren is hosting a food drive to support those affected by the hurricane, Mellisa, in Jamaica. Students and staff work together to donate non-perishable foods for those in Jamaica that faced the impact of the hurricane. People who donate bring their foods to Ms. Ramoo in room 135-E.
