On November 19, 2025, Ms. Choriatis and Mr. McCloud took the Media and Leadership students on an exciting trip to Lincoln Center in Manhattan to watch a Japanese Anime called, “Angel’s Egg.”

The Media and Leadership students left the school at 7:30am and took an hour and a half long trip on a Coach Bus to enjoy the art of theater and anime. Angel'ss Egg is animated film in Japanese and made in 1985 with a genre of Fantasy/Sci-fi. The movie was 1 hour and 11 minutes long and they even got to watch a post-screening Q&A between Erica Chon, the director of Content at GKids and Regina Harsanyi, the MOMI curator which all lasted from 9:30-12:00.

After that, they walked around the Lincoln Center plaza, enjoying the sight and wonders it had to behold. Then they ate school lunch at 12:30 and at 1:00 they got on the bus for the long journey back and returned to school around 2:00.

“I learned from the movie that if you're faithful and hopeful you can get through a lot of things. Overall, the trip was fun all around and a great experience.” - Bubacarr (Media Student).

Overall, Students and teachers had a fun time and it helped them experience the life of film and media culture. They enjoyed the exclusive anime screening and the sights of Lincoln Center. This trip was a great experience and opportunity for everyone involved!
