At Martin Van Buren school in queens village we are seeing strong growth in its sports program this year. The school offers boys basketball, girls basketball, girls volleyball, boys volleyball, track, girls soccer, and boys soccer. These teams give a chance to stay active and represent the Bees. Clubs across MVB are also becoming more active and diverse.

Students can join clubs such as student government, debate, JROTC yearbook and robotics. The school also provides fine art programs like music, band and graphic design. These clubs give students the chance to build leadership skills, express creativity, and get more involved in school activities. Many of the groups meet after school and welcome new members throughout the year.

Along with the sports and clubs, MVB also offers specialized academic programs. This includes the STEM institute for science research, Engineering & robotics, the institute for Law & Humanities, and the Academy of communications, media and arts. Each one of these special programs is to help students develop college and career skills. Together, these opportunities create a supportive environment that encourages student growth and school pride.
