On January 20 - 23 Tuesday through Friday, Martin Van Buren and other NY public schools are conducting its annual regents week. An event in which through the whole week no regular classes will take place and the school building will only be used for the specialized tests given by the state.

The event will last the whole week with it following after Martin Luther King day and will begin around 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. After the regents are finished students are allowed to leave the building and if there are no more regents for the finished students, they do not go to school or classes.

It's important to understand that these tests are a requirement for graduation and should be taken very seriously and studied for at least the week before.

Good luck to all students and teachers next week!
